Wow, been awhile since I've blogged. Riffle Season seemed to last very long to me, with the Deer Camp for an entire week Josh had to participate in. I got to go 1 Day, just 1 Day of Riffle Season. Well black powder season was unsuccessful unfortunately for both I & my husband. Out of those 9 days, I was only able to go 1 time Halloween morning. Thanks to my wonderful mom who drove an hour & 15 to be here for the evening/wee morning. Man did I get up early, waay too early for my likings for sure. But I was on time & at The Lease by 6am. Wow what a weekend! My Dad & Brother came down around 11:30 Sat, we hung out for a bit so they could enjoy Garrett some. We headed out to the Lease around 3:30pm. While at the Lease we hardly saw any dove. But we did do some fishing & shooting for sure. I caught 2 bass, 1 small & the other was pretty darn big! One more day & I get to do dove hunting again! My Dad & Brother are definitely coming & staying the night so we can get up at the crack of dawn & hopefully kill a bunch of dove, that's the plan anyways! I'm very excited if you can't tell.
